Optiver is using many Open Source Tools like RRDTool, Puppet and Django in a somehow creative way. The presentation will focus of adapting the Open Source Tools to your own needs using examples with RRDTool, Puppet and Django.

RRDtool is the OpenSource industry standard, high performance data logging and graphing system for time series data. RRDtool can be easily integrated in shell scripts, perl, python, ruby, lua or tcl applications. Puppet is a configuration and management toolkit, with flexibility setup, rich features and ease of use. Django is a high-level Python Web framework that encourages rapid development and clean, pragmatic design.
