T-DOSE, the Technical Dutch Open Source Event, is every year held in the Eindhoven area. The event is aimed at increasing the use of and knowledge about Open Source Software, in the Netherlands as well as globally. In various keynotes en presentation information is exchanged. Interested parties are informed about new developments in the Open Source world. Eindhoven is part of the technology triangle Eindhoven-Leuven-Aken and is part of Brainport. Brainport is the driving force behind the hightech industry in the Netherlands. Philips, ASML, VDL, Prodrive, and many other large and small high-tech companies have their roots in this region. In the high-tech industry, Open Source is playing an increasingly important role in products and business processes. Therefore, the Eindhoven region is the ideal location for an Open Source conference with international appeal.

The T-DOSE Foundataion

The T-DOSE foundation has been organizing this event every autumn since 2006, and the number of visitors grows each year. The foundation was established by Jeroen Baten, author of several books on Open Source, and Jean-Paul Saman, an experienced software engineer and owner of M2X. Jeroen Baten has since left the board, and several enthusiastic volunteers have joined the board. Jean-Paul Saman is still actively involved in the organization.

In the Netherlands, there is no comparable free event in the field of Open Source. The organization of T‑DOSE works on a voluntary basis and invests all proceeds and sponsorship funds into the event. Therefore, your sponsorship is a direct contribution to making T-DOSE possible. For companies, T-DOSE is the perfect opportunity to increase their visibility in the space. Participants are given the chance to gain a vast amount of knowledge and make connections over the course of two days. In return for your sponsorship starting at €500, you will receive a booth in the central area of the event. This booth will be equipped with electricity and internet connections. We will also publish your logo in our digital schedule and on our website, where it will remain until about a month before the next edition of T-DOSE.
