We are happy to announce the projects that will be taking part in the bazaar at T-DOSE 2026. There projects will have stands that are you can visit in our main room 'Grote Spoel', all weekend. Here, they will present their work and background and representatives are happy to answer any questions you have on these projects.

We encourage you to visit these projects during the conference:

  • Hackalot
  • Laptop Revive
  • Free Software Foundation Europe
  • Debian
  • Angry Nerds Podcast
  • Freie Software Freunde - Free Your Model Train
  • Hacker Public Radio: the community podcast
  • Nalatenschap Rutger

Visit our projects page for full details, including links to the websites of the organisations and a description of their project. The information market will be available on both days of the conference. Come visit these stands to learn more about these great projects.

As always, our own T-DOSE information desk can be found in the Grote Spoel as well. Don't forget to come and get a great new 'collectors-item' T-DOSE T-shirt; or a large T-DOSE mug that you can refill for free with T-DOSE coffee and tea!

One month to go

written by T-DOSE on 2026-05-06

Only one month to go until T-DOSE! We have a great line-up of speakers already. A few examples of talks:

  • Emiel Brok - Open by choice, sovereign by design
  • Boekenwuurm - How to start anything
  • Maja - Challenge the Cyber
  • Brenno de Winter - Soevereiniteit! Hoe dan?
  • Lennart Benschop - FORTH - A pioneering language

We also have some great workshops on SSH, PGP and MuseScore, and of course a hallway track with several stands.

We have space for a few more program entries. We have re-opened the CFP for now. If you have a proposal, please send it in by May 20th at the latest.

Whether or not you intend to give a talk, hold a workshop or organise a stand, we hope to see you at T-DOSE!

The T-DOSE team wishes everyone attending FOSDEM a wonderful time.

And if, after this weekend, you don't want to wait a whole year to see your Open Source friends again, meet up with them in June this year at the 20th anniversary of T-DOSE!

Look out for our anniversary stickers at FOSDEM this weekend...

Celebrating 20 years of T-DOSE

written by T-DOSE on 2026-01-29

This year's edition of T-DOSE, which takes place on June 6th and 7th at the Weeffabriek in Geldrop, marks the 20 year anniversary of our event.

In 2006, the first edition of T-DOSE was held at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Our founders, Jeroen Baten and Jean-Paul Saman, wanted to create an Open Source event in the Dutch Brainport region, which is one of Europe's strongest technological hotspots. And although we've had some ups and downs, 20 years later, we're still going, still connecting the Open Source community, not only within the Netherlands but also beyond the borders.

So, we hope to welcome you at the Weeffabriek in June, for a great weekend filled with Open Source goodness, and of course to celebrate 20 years of T-DOSE with us!

Call for Participation

written by T-DOSE on 2026-01-28

T-DOSE, the Technical Dutch Open Source Event, is a freely accessible conference, organised in the Eindhoven region since 2006. The event consists of a central track with presentations and a bazaar where Open Source projects can present themselves. This year, which marks 20 years since the first edition, T-DOSE will be held on 6 and 7 June at the Weeffabriek in Geldrop.

The T-DOSE organisation calls for proposals for talks. All presentations related to open source, open standards, open data or open hardware are welcome. Possible subjects for talks include specific software development projects, but also practical application of open source in schools/institutions or industry, open standards, community management, programming languages, open internet applications, legal aspects, historic developments, hackerspaces, etc. We also have some capacity for related workshops.

At the same time, we open registrations for participation in the bazaar, where stands will be available to open source projects and other related groups to present themselves to the public. The stands will be placed in a central information market area.

The deadline for presentation abstracts, workshops and project stand requests is 31 March 2026. Submit your registration via our registration page and make sure to select the appropriate track.

T-DOSE is completely organised by volunteers. More information about the foundation and the core team, as well as sponsoring opportunities can also be found on our website. For any questions regarding submissions, please use the contact form.
