T-DOSE on 22 & 23 April 2023
T-DOSE will be returning in 2023, as a two-day event, on the 22nd and 23rd of April.
T-DOSE 2023 will be held at our new location: the Weeffabriek in Geldrop (near Eindhoven). This venue is less than a 15 minute walk from the Geldrop railway station. There is also plenty of parking space in the area. See the venue page for details.
We hope to greet a lot of familiar and new faces.
Moving our IRC presence
The T-DOSE IRC channel has been moved to the Libera.Chat network.
You can join us on the #t-dose channel there. This is the only official T-DOSE IRC channel now.
T-DOSE postponed
In the light of the recent upsurge of COVID-19 cases in both the Netherlands and the rest of the world, we have concluded that an event that brings together people from many different places is not a very good idea right now. Because of this, we have decided to postpone T-DOSE a second time.
We are now looking at dates in April/May 2021. We hope very much that conditions will improve soon to such an extent that letting T-DOSE take place is possible in a safe and healthy way.
Update: Spring 2021 is not an option either. T-DOSE will happen again, we just do not know when yet.
T-DOSE 2020 postponed
It is with great regret that we have to announce that T-DOSE 2020 cannot take place on the planned dates. While as of yet the measures taken with regard to the Corona virus extend only until April 6th, it seems unlikely that everything will go back to normal at that time. Because of this, we have made the decision to postpone the event.
The good news is that we have been able to secure a new date at our venue. T-DOSE 2020 will now take place on October 24th and 25th of this year. The Call for Papers and Projects has been extended until September 15th.
We hope to see you all this autumn!
Corona virus
We are monitoring the developments of the Corona virus (COVID-19) and the proposed mitigations. We will adhere to the recommendations of the National Dutch Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). Today, the Dutch government advised the nation-wide cancellation of events with over one hundred participants. However, there is currently no advice beyond 1 April 2020.
We continue to prepare for the T-DOSE 2020 conference, and hope that the event can proceed as planned. The organising team is working hard to arrange everything. We are still looking for additional speakers and open source projects. Please fill in the the submission form if you wish to give a presentation.
Later this month, we will give an extra update on the developments regarding COVID-19 and the consequences for T-DOSE 2020.
